Global Fleet Champions invites attendees to UK and Australasian fleet safety awards ceremonies

28 June 2019

Road safety charity Brake has invited fleet professionals and other safety-conscious organisations to attend its UK Fleet Safety Awards and Australasian Fleet Safety Awards as part of the Global Fleet Champions campaign.

Brake runs its UK Fleet Safety Awards and Australasian Fleet Safety Awards annually to recognise and celebrate the achievements of those working to reduce crashes and prevent pollution caused by vehicles driven for work.

The domestic awards ceremonies provide an opportunity to meet other fleet professionals, as well as Brake supporters and volunteers, and share best practice in managing road risk. They each include a networking reception and dinner – the perfect opportunity for attendees to network with their peers and industry specialists.

The deadline for entering the 2019 UK and Australasian Fleet Safety Awards has now passed but don’t miss your chance to attend this prestigious event that celebrates the very best in fleet safety.

The judging for this year’s entries is now underway and the strength of the applicants, from such a range of different industries and operations, is impressive – so don’t miss out.

Ross Moorlock, business development director at Brake, says: “Once again we have received some amazing entries from many different types and sizes of fleets from across multiple industries, as well as from organisations that provide products or services to fleets.

“It’s great to see so many championing safe and healthy mobility. Our awards ceremonies provide a fantastic networking opportunity and the perfect platform to share and celebrate best practice within the industry. I’d encourage you all to attend.”

If you are interested in attending the awards:

The UK Fleet Safety Awards, co-sponsored by DRiiVE WiTH Matrix, will take place on Thursday 19 September 2019 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole. Book your place here.

The Australasian Fleet Safety Awards, sponsored by the NZ Transport Agency, will be announced on Thursday 12 September 2019 at the Novotel Auckland Ellerslie. Book your place here.

There’s still an exciting selection of sponsorship opportunities available at both ceremonies. If you are interested in offering your support please email [email protected].

Global Fleet Safety Awards

Although the UK and Australasian domestic road safety awards are now closed, we are still accepting entries for the Global Fleet Champions Awards.

The Global Fleet Champions Awards celebrate best practice in safe and healthy mobility for fleets anywhere in the world, including in low- and middle-income nations where occupational road risk management is evolving slowly.

Awards will be given across five categories and will be issued throughout the year at ceremonies in the nation in which each award-winner is based.

Brake welcomes entries from organisations operating anywhere in the world, running any size or type of fleet.
