Next week Fleet News will run its first-ever virtual event for the fleet and mobility community, Fleet & Mobility Live 2020.
Virtual Fleet & Mobility Live will feature advice, guidance and best practice from leading fleet sector experts on the topics of greatest importance to fleet decision-makers.
The online conference aims to feature case studies from award-winning fleets on how to run the safest, most efficient and most effective operations.
It will be held from 17-19 November.
Sessions include:
- Day 1, 16:00 – 16:30 | Running a safe fleet

Driver wellbeing, managing risk and fatigue will be explored in this session with best practice advice from transport behavioural and mental health specialists.

This session will look at the Direct Vision Standards which all fleets need to adhere to by March 31, 2021 (delayed from the original 2020 launch) for vehicles of 12 tonnes and heavier. What are the standards, how do you comply, how do they impact your operations, what is the enforcement zone, how do you apply, what is the star rating, what is the progressive safe system, what are the benefits (will it improve safety) and are there any downsides, are among the topics this session will cover.
